Workplace privacy and consent
Overview
CalmSignal is built so a workplace program can exist without watching an employee. Typing and message analysis stay on their device. What the organization sees is anonymized, aggregate trend — enough to support the culture, not to inspect a person.
What managers and admins never see
They do not get a feed of individual stress scores, message content, or keyboard text. Overview and team views are rolled-up trends and engagement. When a group is too small for that to stay anonymous, those breakdowns stay hidden. The product will show a blank rather than a guess about one person.
Consent for extra support
Wellness coordinators are optional. They only see more about someone who has explicitly agreed to share, and that person can withdraw. Managers and admins do not get a back door into someone’s scores or messages. This is support for people who asked for help, not a second channel for performance review.
Where processing happens
Personal analysis runs on the employee’s phone, watch, or browser. Raw text is not uploaded so the employer can read it later. If someone leaves the organization, their on-device history stays theirs.
