Add CalmSignal to Chrome and other Chromium browsers (Edge, Brave, Opera, etc.)—100% on-device processing.

Overview

Go to chromewebstore.google.com/detail/calmsignal/elgaklnjembnnaoagepcbdpiajimlgce and click "Add to Chrome." The same extension works in Edge, Brave, Opera, and other Chromium browsers—install from the Chrome Web Store (in Edge: Extensions → Get extensions from other stores). After installation, pin the extension from the toolbar for quick access. Sign in with your CalmSignal account and pick the workspaces you'd like to monitor (email, docs, messaging).

100% On-Device Processing

The Chrome extension processes all text analysis entirely on your device using:

The extension uses a privacy-first inference cascade: it tries the ONNX model first, falls back to heuristics if needed, and only uses the backend API if you explicitly opt-in (disabled by default).

  • ONNX models (primary): Advanced AI models that run locally in your browser
  • Heuristics engine (fallback): Rule-based analysis if the ONNX model is unavailable
  • No server calls: All analysis happens in your browser—your text never leaves your device

Optional: restrict sites

You can disable CalmSignal on specific domains. Open the extension popup → Settings → Site Exceptions and add any URLs you want to exclude.
